BREAKING: Gov. Hochul lifts the indoor mask mandates for public spaces in NY leaving it up to local municipalities to decide whether or not to enforce it.

The mandate will remain in effect for schools, healthcare facilities, bus/train stations, homeless shelters, and shelters for domestic abuse.

Hochul also mentioned that she is “flexible in how she operates, and can go back if necessary…” she continued that she follows “the data.” Even though according to NYS law, she would have to go through the state legislature in order to enforce such measures.
